Open the source before the assistant
Open W3C WAI's Introduction to Web Accessibility: https://www.w3.org/WAI/fundamentals/accessibility-intro/ . Read “What is Web Accessibility” and “Evaluating Accessibility.” Our question is narrow: who does accessibility help, and can a tool alone confirm that a website meets the guidelines? Keep the title, URL and section headings. If the page will not open, leave its claims unverified; a search snippet is not the full source.
Ask Yuanbao about only the passages you read
Open Yuanbao from the official link and check the access and data terms shown to you. Paste only the short public passages you need, with their section headings. Ask: “Using only these passages, write two findings, the supporting section for each, and one limit. Separate what the page says from your suggestions. If information is missing, say so.” No upload, connected service or second assistant is required. If access is unavailable, draft the same brief yourself.
Compare the answer with two anchors
Anchor one: accessibility enables people with disabilities to use and contribute to the Web; the page also lists benefits for people without disabilities, such as temporary or situational limitations. Anchor two: evaluation tools can help, but no tool alone can determine whether a site meets accessibility guidelines; knowledgeable human evaluation is required. Keep both. This source does not certify your website or report a success rate for Yuanbao.
Repair the claim, not just its citation
Authored mistake: “Accessibility is only for blind users, and an AI scan guarantees compliance.” Replace it with: “Accessibility covers a range of disabilities and can benefit other users. Tools assist evaluation; knowledgeable human evaluation is still required.” Check the wording against the two sections. Adding a W3C link to a wrong claim does not repair it—a citation is not a magic eraser. This mistake is a teaching example, not an observed Yuanbao response.
Turn the checked passages into a reusable brief
Open the document-summary worksheet below. Replace its fictional checklist excerpt with the short W3C passages you read, labelled by title and section, and add your question. Keep findings, source support and limits together. Copy your reviewed brief before leaving. The worksheet does not transfer a Yuanbao conversation or inspect the website; if you use its fictional sample instead, label the result as practice and do not mix it with the W3C findings.
