What can go wrong
- “Two figures still need checking” becomes “all figures are ready”. Keep the unfinished work in the spoken version; fluency is not completion.
- A ready draft becomes permission to release. Say what is ready and what still needs checking without inventing a release decision.
- A shorter answer drops the caveat. Practise a compact sentence that keeps the two unchecked figures, then compare its meaning with the original before repeating it.
