Open Plus AI in a blank Google Slides file
This walkthrough uses Plus AI inside Google Slides. PowerPoint and the web app are separate alternatives, not later steps. Open a blank Google Slides file, then choose Extensions → Plus AI → New Presentation. If Plus AI is missing, use the official installation instructions; if your organisation requires approval, stop and ask its administrator before installing. Check your current plan, generation allowance and sharing settings. We use fictional text in the normal Prompt field. File upload and the separate Paste in text mode require Pro or Team according to the guide; ordinary prompt generation is not a promise of free access. If you cannot proceed, prepare the source and prompt here and stop before generation.
Ask for three editable proposal slides
Prompt: “Create exactly three editable proposal slides using only G1–G4. Slide 1: proposed office hours. Slide 2: how to ask for help. Slide 3: feedback plan and decisions needed. Label the first and last slide ‘Proposal — approval and dates pending.’ Preserve Monday/Wednesday 14:00–16:00. Do not invent approval, dates, response times or feedback results. Use no external images.” Append G1–G4. In Google Slides, choose Slides rather than Images for native editable output; review the displayed template/language settings.
Review the outline before generating
In Plus AI, choose Slides for editable slide objects, paste your prompt, check the template and language, then click the blue send button. The documented Google Slides flow shows an outline first. Check for exactly three sections: proposed hours, how to ask for help, and feedback plus open decisions. Keep the G1–G4 source labels and the pending approval/date notes. Delete unsupported claims before accepting the outline to generate slides. Accepting the outline approves this draft's structure; it does not approve the office-hours proposal. If the interface differs, stop and compare the official guide instead of guessing which control sends your material. An error or loading screen is not a finished deck.
Repair the confident fiction
Compare all three slides with G1–G4. Replace “Approved, launches next Monday, replies in two hours” with “Proposed Monday/Wednesday 14:00–16:00; approval and dates pending; no response-time commitment supplied.” Keep planned feedback collection separate from actual results. Edit the native slides directly and record the correction. This is an authored failure example, not a tested Plus AI result.
Open the native file and exported PDF
Check the actual Google Slides document: exactly three generated slides, editable text, proposal labels present and no unrelated old slides. Export a PDF using Google Slides' download controls, then open the downloaded file. Check page count, clipping, hours and caveats. If an existing presentation was used by mistake, find appended slides and move them to a clean file before export. These are your own checks; AhaDo cannot open the two files to confirm them. Ask your intended reader separately whether the proposal is clear.
Keep the review and ask for approval
Record the Google Slides document name, PDF filename/page count, facts checked, corrections and unresolved approval/dates. Copy this record before leaving AhaDo. Keep source labels beside the deck. Use the internal-announcement Task to refine wording or stakeholder-update to request the missing decision. AhaDo sends nothing and cannot inspect or restore either file.
