What it helps with and what to check
Good tasks to start with
- Business presentations with consistent layouts
- Teams that want design guardrails
Keep an eye on
- A polished slide can still contain weak reasoning
- Check export and collaboration terms
How to start
Tick each step as you work. These checks stay on this page only; they do not verify results in the external tool.

Open Create with AI, then check access
From My Presentations, choose Create with AI. Check your plan, remaining access, workspace sharing and whether the fictional G1–G4 material is allowed. This practice uses no upload. If the button is unavailable or data rules are unclear, prepare the prompt in AhaDo and stop before generation. A trial is an option shown by the vendor, not homework from us—no need to buy a plan just to tick a box.
Ask for three proposal slides
Paste: “Create exactly three proposal slides using only G1–G4. Slide 1: proposed office hours. Slide 2: how to ask for help. Slide 3: feedback and open decisions. Mark slides 1 and 3 ‘Proposal — approval and dates pending.’ Preserve Monday/Wednesday 14:00–16:00 and source labels. Do not invent approval, dates, response times or feedback results. Use no images.” Append G1–G4. Submit the prompt to reach the outline; do not add a supporting file.
Fix the outline before design
The official flow shows a text-only, slide-by-slide outline before design. Keep exactly three slides, edit titles and copy directly, and remove any invented conclusion. Set the language you need and choose No images. Then click Generate Presentation. A neat outline is still only a draft; good spacing has never approved a calendar.
Use Slide AI for layout, not truth
Compare every slide with G1–G4. If it says “Approved, starts next Monday, replies within two hours,” restore “Proposed Monday/Wednesday 14:00–16:00; approval and dates pending; no response-time promise.” Keep planned feedback collection separate from feedback already received. You may preview another Smart Slide layout or use Slide AI on one slide, but record the factual correction yourself. This failure example is authored, not observed in a Beautiful.ai run.
Export and open the three-page PDF
Name the Beautiful.ai presentation. Choose Presentation → Export Presentation → PDF → Export. Leave skipped slides excluded unless they belong in the proposal. Open the downloaded PDF and check that it has three pages, readable text, the exact hours and the pending-decision labels. PDF exports are static images; animations, audio and video do not survive. Wrong page count, clipping or a missing caveat means revise and export again before completion.
Keep the review and ask for the decision
Record the Beautiful.ai presentation name, PDF filename/page count, facts checked, corrections and unresolved approval/dates. Copy the record before leaving AhaDo. Use the internal-announcement Task to refine wording or the stakeholder-update Task to request the missing decision. Check recipients and sharing separately; this practice does not send or approve the proposal.
