What it helps with and what to check

Good tasks to start with

  • Team decks and sales presentations
  • Collaborative review of a presentation

Keep an eye on

  • Keep workspace sharing permissions narrow
  • AI-generated slides still need factual review

How to start

Tick each step as you work. These checks stay on this page only; they do not verify results in the external tool.

0 of 6 steps checked

1

Check access before sending notes

Open Pitch in a permitted workspace. Check access, AI credits and workspace sharing before entering anything. Start with the fictional notes, not a client deck. Use Pitch's own creation controls. If AI is disabled, credit is unavailable or data policy is unclear, prepare the slide outline here and stop before generation. This exercise does not require buying credits.

2

Give each slide one job

Use P1–P4 to plan three slides: 1) pilot status, 2) next action, 3) decision needed. Audience: team lead. Purpose: see progress and unresolved choices, not sell an approved launch. Keep the source labels with the outline. Do not turn eight replies into eight happy users; a reply is a reply, not applause.

3

Generate a small draft

In Pitch's dashboard choose Create with AI. Ask: “Create exactly three static slides for a team lead using only P1–P4 below. Slide 1: pilot status. Slide 2: next action. Slide 3: open decision. Preserve numbers, source labels and missing details. Do not invent satisfaction, launch approval or calendar dates. Keep essential facts on the slides, not only in speaker notes. No stock photo is needed.” Append the source, preview a simple template, then Generate after checking the displayed settings/cost. If the draft has extra slides or invented facts, edit it before continuing.

4

Check the deck against the source

Expected content, not a generated result: slide 1 has 12 invited, 8 replied, 4 awaiting reply, satisfaction not measured [P1–P2]. Slide 2 has design lead, two copy options, Friday with date unconfirmed, completion not reported [P3]. Slide 3 has public launch suggested, decision and date unagreed [P4]. Repair “67% satisfaction, launch Friday” by removing both claims: 8/12 is a reply proportion, and Friday belongs to the copy action. Check text size, contrast, line breaks and whether the title states what the slide actually supports.

5

Export, then open the actual PDF

Choose Share → Export and a PDF quality. The official guide says Free exports include a Pitch watermark; do not imply payment is needed to finish this practice. Open the downloaded file from the browser's download location. Count three pages and inspect every page: no clipped text, all P1–P4 facts represented, no invented chart or missing caveat. Notes/comments do not export and moving media will not play as in the editor. Keep this exercise static. A download notification alone is not the file check.

6

Keep the source and ask for a decision

Record filename, page count, checks/corrections and unresolved Friday/launch details. Copy this record before leaving AhaDo; it cannot inspect or restore your Pitch deck. Keep the source with the draft. Share only through an approved channel after checking recipients; AhaDo sends nothing. The next stakeholder-update Task can help write a short request for the missing decision. It does not approve or schedule the launch.
