How to do this task
Follow the method below, do the task, then check the result. Tool links show options, not extra steps you must complete.
Paste the original question and AI answer into the guide without your child’s personal details. Use one assistant to identify claims to check and questions that let your child explain the reasoning. Verify the claims against the textbook or another reliable source; a second AI answer is not proof.
View ChatGPT instructions →Compare the AI reply with the original question, stated learning goal and visible working. If any is missing, name the gap and ask for it; do not guess the intended method or why the learner made an error. Check factual and mathematical claims against the supplied material or a worked check you show. Mark anything you cannot verify. Separate giving away the answer from giving a hint, using the stated goal rather than an invented school rule. Ask the learner to explain one step before showing a solution. Give one small next hint and one check the adult can follow. A correct AI answer or copied retry does not prove understanding. Use fictional or de-identified material only. Material:- Because 126 is correct, the explanation is called useful. Check the goal: the learner was meant to try first. Ask how to split 18 instead of repeating the answer.
- Repeating the number is taken as understanding after AI already revealed it. Ask the learner to explain the split and products; a new hint cannot hide an answer already seen.
- An arithmetic slip makes the whole method “wrong”. In the later example, splitting 18 into 10 and 8 works; check 8 × 7 = 54 first, then redo the sum.

- Multimodal questions with text, images and files
Watch out- Verify factual claims and citations
- Review current data controls before pasting work material
- Another tool in a matching category
A Chinese AI assistant known for reasoning and coding-oriented models.
See full tool details →Good for- Checking a maths solution one step at a time
- Grouping short feedback excerpts with quote labels
Watch out- Browser chat access and API billing are separate
- A long explanation can still contain a wrong step
- Another tool in a matching category
Google’s general AI assistant for everyday questions, files and connected Google workflows.
See full tool details →Good for- Summarising a small uploaded document
- Questioning a spreadsheet with source-cell checks
Watch out- Drive connections have different requirements from local file uploads
- A successful upload does not prove every page was read correctly

- Ask your child before concluding anything
