What it helps with and what to check

Good tasks to start with

  • Marketing content at team scale
  • Keeping campaign copy aligned with a brand voice

Keep an eye on

  • A human still owns claims and approvals
  • Check plan limits before moving a team workflow

How to start

Tick each step as you work. These checks stay on this page only; they do not verify results in the external tool.

1

Start with one reader and a small brief

Open the outline worksheet below and load its fictional B1–B5 brief. A new project coordinator needs to separate decisions, actions and open questions in meeting notes. Keep a copy of the brief beside your draft. This practice needs no real company files.

2

Check access to the Blog Outline Agent

Jasper documents a Blog Outline Agent for this work. Check whether it is available in your account before starting; the public article does not establish your plan entitlement or current button labels. If access is unavailable, you can complete the same outline manually in the worksheet. Buying a plan is not part of this exercise.

3

Turn B1–B5 into clear outline inputs

The official recipe asks for a topic or working title, audience, goal, focus keywords and desired length. For this practice: topic = meeting notes in three lists; audience = a new project coordinator; goal = distinguish decisions, actions and open questions; suggested phrase = meeting action list; length = a short internal how-to article. The suggested phrase is an exercise choice, not researched search demand. If you add Knowledge Base context, use only the fictional brief and confirm its scope; no real work upload is needed.

4

Generate, then give every section a job

Run the outline generation and review the result. Jasper’s documented output includes title ideas, an introduction, H2/H3 sections, talking points, supporting-detail suggestions and a conclusion. For this brief, aim for four useful sections: read the verbs; make three lists; check owners and dates; confirm before sharing. Add two concrete points to each yourself if the draft is vague. A suggested example is not a fact from B1–B5, and an SEO suggestion is not proof of search performance.

5

Repair a confident heading that changes the facts

Wrong: “Launch next week and cut meeting admin by 50%.” B2 only proposes a public launch; B4 gives no savings measurement. Better: “Separate the agreed internal test from the proposed public launch.” Keep the designer’s two drafts on Friday as stated, and leave legal-review ownership and dates unconfirmed. Revise in the same Jasper workflow, or edit the draft yourself. You do not need to switch assistants to make these corrections.

6

Bring the checked outline back to the worksheet

Keep the outline text, source labels and unresolved questions, then bring them to the worksheet’s draft stage. Compare with its worked example and complete the human checks; the optional tool-instructions link does not require you to switch tools. Keep a copy of the reviewed draft before leaving. Next, write one section and use citation-check to verify added claims. Use campaign-checklist only when you actually plan distribution. Canvas sharing is not required. Finishing the worksheet means you have reviewed a draft; publication still needs a separate decision.
