Follow the steps
Check access and sharing
Open a workspace where you are allowed to use Gamma. Check AI access, displayed credits and who can view the project. The export guide says Gamma also sends an email copy; consider the account's mailbox before using sensitive material. Start with G1–G4, which are fictional. If access or data handling is unclear, prepare the outline here and stop before import. No purchase is required by this practice.
Read the fictional source
Fictional source: G1: Office hours are proposed on Monday and Wednesday, 14:00–16:00. G2: A two-week trial is proposed; approval and calendar dates are unconfirmed. G3: The existing support channel remains available outside office hours; no response-time guarantee is supplied. G4: The coordinator will collect comments through the existing feedback channel; no feedback results exist yet.

Keep the proposal a proposal
Plan three slides: proposed hours [G1–G2], how to ask for help [G3], feedback and open decisions [G2, G4]. Label the deck “Proposal — approval and dates pending.” Keep exact hours and unknowns. “Suggested” must not become “starting next Monday.” Use /split between the three sections when preparing the import text.
Import the bounded draft
From the home screen choose New with AI, then Import. Paste the labelled outline and source, choose a simple theme/layout and review the displayed options before continuing. Ask it to preserve hours, pending approval and missing dates. The official guide says importing brings in text, not existing styling. Open the generated deck and count its slides; split or combine sections if needed. If import fails, keep the text and read the error before retrying. A loading screen does not complete this step.
Repair unsupported claims
Compare all three slides with G1–G4. Repair “Approved: starts next Monday, replies within two hours” to “Proposed Monday/Wednesday 14:00–16:00; approval and dates pending; no response-time commitment provided.” Do not turn the plan to collect feedback into positive feedback already received. Record the correction or the facts you checked. This is an authored error example, not a real Gamma output.
Check Present Mode and the saved PDF
Open the three-dot menu → Page Setup → Slide Size and select a suitable fixed height. Inspect Present Mode for clipping and readable text, then use Share → Export → PDF. Keep the free-plan branding if present. Open the actual downloaded file: count three pages, check all hours and caveats, and compare line breaks with Present Mode. If the file differs or text is clipped, revise layout and export again. Keep completion unchecked until the file opens and the proposal label survives export.
Save the review, leave approval open
Record the filename, page count, corrections and remaining approval/date questions. Copy the record before leaving this local worksheet. AhaDo cannot inspect or restore the Gamma project. Use the internal-announcement Task to refine wording or stakeholder-update to request a decision. Check recipients and sharing permissions separately; this exercise does not send or approve the proposal.
