How to start

Write four original lines
Choose one language and a small theme. Use the fictional lyrics above or write four lines of your own. Keep the words short enough to sing clearly. Mark the words that must not get lost. Copy the lyrics when ready; this page prepares text, not a song.
Open Custom and check the account
Open suno.com/create and choose Custom. Enter your original lyrics and describe the sound you want. For this exercise, try warm acoustic pop, light percussion and a clear lead vocal. This is a suggested description, not a guaranteed result. Check the generation allowance shown in your account. If access is unavailable, keep your preparation record and stop before claiming a generated draft.
Make one draft and listen to every line
Generate a draft in Suno and record which version you listened to. Follow the lyrics from beginning to end. Note one specific observation: a missing word, an unclear line, a useful pause, or a check that found no problem. A catchy tune can still swallow the words; listen before pressing Generate again.
Change one thing and compare versions
If a line sounds crowded, shorten it; if the mood is wrong, simplify the style description. For your own song in Library, open the three-dot menu and choose Reuse Prompt. The official guide says this lets you edit Lyrics, Style of Music and Title before making a new version. Check the displayed allowance first. Listen to both versions and record the change. This makes another version; it does not edit the already generated audio in place. If the first draft needs no change, record the checks you performed instead of inventing a mistake.
Keep it in Suno or check an available export
Choose the outcome you actually reached. Keeping a reviewed draft in Suno is enough for personal practice. If your account offers a download, use Library or Workspace, open the song's three-dot menu, then Download. Check the current allowance before continuing: the September 3, 2026 rules do not guarantee downloads for every free account. For an export, play the downloaded file and compare it with the selected version. If no download is available, choose the in-Suno outcome; do not claim a file was checked.
Keep a useful record
Copy the lyrics, style description, selected version, listening notes and any correction. State whether you reviewed inside Suno or also checked a downloaded file. AhaDo cannot verify an account run or the quality of a song. Before sharing or selling anything, check the current terms: owning original lyrics is separate from the rights to generated music, and a commercial-use licence is not a copyright guarantee.
