Guide

Create and check an image in Ideogram

Prepare a fictional image brief, check visibility, inspect the saved file and keep your recipe.

Follow the steps

Step 1 of 6

Check access and visibility

Open Ideogram and check your account access, the selected model's credit cost and the visibility of your images. Public or pinned images can appear on your profile. Use the fictional brief below; do not upload private photos or client work. If you need privacy but cannot confirm it, stop before generating. An AhaDo language choice does not change your access or plan.

Can you access Ideogram and confirm image visibility and credit cost?

Read all steps

  2. Give the image a clear job

Try a square illustration for a fictional community book swap: a small stack of books and a plant in the lower two thirds, warm green and cream, a plain upper third for a title added later. No people, logos, lettering or dates. Edit the brief for your own subject and layout, then copy it. This exercise makes an image asset, not a complete event poster.

  3. Generate one version

Paste the brief into the prompt box. Choose an available Model and a square Aspect Ratio; record any Style, Color Palette and Magic Prompt choices. Check the credit cost, then use the arrow-up submit button. Open a result before marking this step complete. If an error appears, read it and check the cause before retrying; repeating the same request is not a repair.

  4. Check the brief, not just the beauty

Open a thumbnail to view the image and its detail panel. Check the square shape, books and plant, empty title area and unwanted lettering. Name one mismatch and change that part of the prompt; keep other settings stable when possible. If the first version fits, record what you checked instead of spending more credits. If you choose to generate lettering, check every character against your exact phrase; add editable text in your usual editor if the spelling remains wrong.

  5. Open the downloaded file

Use Download on the image or at the top of its detail panel, then choose an available format and size. Formats and sizes depend on the result and plan; a paid export is not required by this exercise. Open the saved file on your device and check the version, shape and usable title area at the intended size. A wrong or unreadable file needs another download, not a completion tick.

  6. Keep your Ideogram recipe

Record the actual model/settings, final prompt (including any Magic Prompt changes), date, filename and checks. Copy the recipe beside your image before leaving this page. Ideogram's terms allow your own commercial use but do not clear third-party rights for you. Review the current terms before sharing. Completion means you report checking the local file; AhaDo has not inspected it or approved publication.
