Follow the steps
Check access and who can see the design
On Canva’s desktop homepage, open Canva AI → Design → Presentation. Check your plan’s monthly AI allowance and who can see the design. Use only the fictional C1–C4 text below. If access is unavailable, prepare the outline here and stop before generation. Do not upload private material: cropping an image does not remove the original from a PDF.
Read the fictional source
Fictional source: C1: A neighbourhood book swap is proposed for local adult readers. C2: Each attendee may bring up to three books in good condition; this rule is not approved. C3: The venue, date and registration link are undecided. There are no sponsor commitments or attendance figures. C4: The organiser wants comments before preparing a public announcement. No announcement is authorised.
Your text stays on this page and is lost when you leave or reload. Copy it before leaving. AhaDo does not send it to Canva or inspect your design or PDF.

Separate facts from open decisions
Read C1–C4 and prepare three sections: the proposed book swap and audience; the proposed three-book rule; decisions needed before an announcement. Mark slides 1 and 3 “Proposal — not approved”. Keep the rule awaiting approval too. Leave the venue, date and registration link undecided. A plausible Saturday is still an invented Saturday.
Fix the outline before generating three slides
Copy the prompt below into the homepage Canva AI → Design → Presentation flow and submit it. Review the proposed outline: add, delete or reorder sections until it has exactly three and preserves C1–C4. Then choose Generate presentation. This exercise uses the homepage flow; Edit with AI on an editor template is a different route. Open the draft before marking this step complete.
Correct the claims, not just the font
Compare every slide with C1–C4. Double-click a text box, correct or delete unsupported words, then click outside to finish. Keep the proposed rule and both “Proposal — not approved” labels visible. Remove invented dates, links, sponsors and attendance figures. Use the teaching example below to practise; record what you corrected or checked.
Download and open the three-page PDF
Record the editable Canva design name. Choose Share → Download → PDF Standard. Select only the three reviewed pages using All, This Page or Custom as appropriate, then Download. If Fix issue appears, read and resolve the stated cause. If premium assets prompt payment, remove unnecessary paid assets or stop. Open the saved PDF and check all three pages: proposal labels, pending rule, readable text and no invented link. Record its filename and actual page count; a failed download is unfinished.
Save the review, then return to the campaign checklist
Copy your review record before leaving. It includes the source, outline, corrections, editable design name, PDF filename, page count and open decisions. Return to the campaign checklist below to update the brief and request comments. The organiser still needs to decide the rule, venue, date and registration link. Do not turn this internal proposal into a public announcement.

Canva’s presentation, text-editing and PDF-download help articles were reviewed on 10 September 2026. This fictional three-slide exercise has not been generated or exported in a signed-in Canva account by AhaDo. Access and monthly AI allowance depend on your plan; premium assets may require payment. Your checks record your own review, not independent verification.
